# THE PARTIALLY EXCLUDED AREAS LAWS REGULATION, 1950

> A Regulation to apply the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 , to the Partially Excluded Areas of the Mymensingh district.

W HEREAS it is expedient to apply the [Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947](/laws/act-217 "Act 217") , to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district;

A ND WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the Pakistan (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947, the <sup><a id="fnref-1" href="#fn-1">1</a></sup> \[Government] is empowered to make regulation for the peace and good Government of any area in his Province which is for the time being an excluded area, or a partially excluded area;

N OW , THEREFORE , the <sup><a id="fnref-1" href="#fn-1">1</a></sup> \[Government] in exercise of the said powers and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-

### Short title and commencement

1\. (1) This Regulation may be called the <sup><a id="fnref-2" href="#fn-2">2</a></sup> \[\*\*\*] Partially Excluded Areas Laws Regulation, 1950.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the *Official Gazette.*

### Application of Act II of 1947 to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district

2\. The [Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947](/laws/act-217 "Act 217") , shall apply to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.
