# THE EXCLUDED AND PARTIALLY EXCLUDED AREAS LAWS REGULATION, 1950

> A Regulation to apply the 1 [***] State Aid to Industries Act, 1931 , to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.

W HEREAS it is expedient to apply the Bengal [State Aid to Industries Act, 1931](/laws/act-154 "Act 154") , to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district;

A ND WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the Pakistan (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947, the <sup><a id="fnref-2" href="#fn-2">2</a></sup> \[Government] is empowered to make regulations for the peace and good Government of any area in his Province which is for the time being an excluded area or a partially excluded area;

N OW , T HEREFORE , the <sup><a id="fnref-3" href="#fn-3">3</a></sup> \[Government] in exercise of the said powers and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-

### Short title and commencement

1\. (1) This Regulation may be called [THE EXCLUDED AND PARTIALLY EXCLUDED AREAS LAWS REGULATION, 1950](/laws/act-1344 "Act 1344") .

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the *Official Gazette.*

### Application of Bengal Act III of 1931 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymenshingh district

2\. The <sup><a id="fnref-4" href="#fn-4">4</a></sup> \[\*\*\*] [State Aid to Industries Act, 1931](/laws/act-154 "Act 154") , shall apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.
