# THE CHITTAGONG HILL-TRACTS EMPLOYMENT (RECORD OF SERVICES) REGULATION, 1959

> A REGULATION to apply the Employment (Record of Services) Act, 1951 to the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

**Act No:** EAST PAKISTAN REGULATION NO. II OF 1959

WHEREAS it is expedient to apply the Employment (Record of Services) Act, 1951 to the Chittagong Hill-tracts;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the Presidential Proclamation of the seventh day of October, 1958, and in exercise of all powers enabling it in that behalf, the <sup><a id="fnref-1" href="#fn-1">1</a></sup> \[Government] is pleased to make the following Regulation, namely:-

### Short title and commencement

1\. (1) This Regulation may be called [THE CHITTAGONG HILL-TRACTS EMPLOYMENT (RECORD OF SERVICES) REGULATION, 1959](/laws/act-1364 "Act 1364") .

(2) It shall come into force at once.

### Application of Act XIX of 1952 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts

2\. The Employment (Record of Services) Act, 1951 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and the rules made thereunder shall, subject to the following amendments apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts, namely:-
