> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://laws.sayed.app/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # International Crimes (Tribunals) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025 > International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973 অধিকতর সংশোধনকল্পে প্রণীত অধ্যাদেশ **Status:** Repealed **Date of Publication:** ১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি, ২০২৫ **Act No:** ২০২৫ সনের ০৪ নং অধ্যাদেশ **এই অধ্যাদেশ  International Crimes (Tribunals) (Amendment) Act, 2026 (Act No. XIII of 2026) আইন দ্বারা রহিত করা হইয়াছে।** যেহেতু [International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973](/laws/act-435 "Act 435") (Act No. XIX of 1973) অধিকতর সংশোধন করা সমীচীন ও প্রয়োজনীয়; এবং যেহেতু সংসদ ভাঙ্গিয়া যাওয়া অবস্থায় রহিয়াছে এবং রাষ্ট্রপতির নিকট ইহা সন্তোষজনকভাবে প্রতীয়মান হইয়াছে যে, আশু ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় পরিস্থিতি বিদ্যমান রহিয়াছে; সেহেতু [গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের সংবিধান](/laws/act-957 "Act 957") ের ৯৩(১) অনুচ্ছেদে প্রদত্ত ক্ষমতাবলে রাষ্ট্রপতি নিম্নরূপ অধ্যাদেশ প্রণয়ন ও জারি করিলেন:— ### সংক্ষিপ্ত শিরোনাম ও প্রবর্তন ১।   (১) এই অধ্যাদেশ [International Crimes (Tribunals) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025](/laws/act-1517 "Act 1517") নামে অভিহিত হইবে। (২) ইহা অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হইবে। ### Act No. XIX of 1973 এর section 4 এর সংশোধন ২। [International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973](/laws/act-435 "Act 435") (Act No. XIX of 1973), অতঃপর উক্ত Act বলিয়া উল্লিখিত, এর section 4 এর sub-section (2) এর— (ক) clause (e) এ উল্লিখিত "Statute" শব্দটির পরিবর্তে "Act” শব্দটি প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে; (খ) clause (f) এর পরিবর্তে নিম্নরূপ clause (f) প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে, যথা:— "(f) In respect of the war of aggression as crime against peace, the provisions of this section shall apply only to persons in a position effectively to exercise control over or to direct the political or military action of a state,"l ### Act No. XIX of 1973 এর section 8 এর সংশোধন ৩।  উক্ত Act এর section ৪ এর sub-section (3A) এ উল্লিখিত ",by order of a Tribunal," কমাগুলি ও শব্দগুলি বিলুপ্ত হইবে। ### Act No. XIX of 1973 এর section 9 এর সংশোধন 8। উক্ত Act এর section 9 এর sub-section (3) এ উল্লিখিত "six weeks" শব্দগুলির পরিবর্তে "three weeks" শব্দগুলি প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে। ### Act No. XIX of 1973 এর section 11 এর সংশোধন ৫।  উক্ত Act এর section 11 এর sub-section (৪) এর পর নিম্নরূপ নূতন sub-section (9) সন্নিবেশিত হইবে, যথা:— "(9) A Tribunal may order freezing or confiscation of the accused's assets to prevent evasion ог flight, realize compensation under section 20A and ensure justice."। ### Act No. XIX of 1973 এর section 12 এর সংশোধন ৬।  উক্ত Act এর section 12 এর sub-section (3) এ উল্লিখিত "Reports" শব্দটির পরিবর্তে "Complaints, reports" শব্দগুলি ও কমা প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে। ### Act No. XIX of 1973 এর section 19 এর সংশোধন ৭।   উক্ত Act এর section 19 এর sub-section (4) এর পর নিম্নরূপ নূতন sub-section (5) সন্নিবেশিত হইবে, যথা:— "(5) Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, the Tribunal shall not be bound by technical rules of evidence and may adopt and apply expeditious and non-technical procedures."। *** ### Footnotes Click [here](http://bdlaws.minlaw.gov.bd/act-details-1517.html) to see the original act on the Bangladesh Legal Database.
