# The District Administration (Repeal) Ordinance, 1975

> An Ordinance to repeal the District Administration Act, 1975.

**Act No:** Ordinance NO. XLV OF 1975

WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the District Administration Act, 1975 (VI of 1975);

AND WHEREAS Parliament is not in session and the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render immediate action necessary;

NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the 20th August, 1975, and in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 93 of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-

### Short title

1\. This Ordinance may be called the [District Administration (Repeal) Ordinance, 1975](/laws/act-502 "Act 502") .

### Repeal of Act VI of 1975

2\. The District Administration Act, 1975 (VI of 1975), is hereby repealed.
