# The Government of Bangladesh (Services Screening) (Repeal) Ordinance, 1977

> An Ordinance to repeal the Government of Bangladesh (Services Screening) Order, 1972.

WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Government of Bangladesh (Services Screening) Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 67 of 1972), and to provide for certain other matter connected therewith; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamations of the 20th August, 1975, and the 8th November, 1975, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-

### Short title

1\. This Ordinance may be called the [Government of Bangladesh (Services Screening) (Repeal) Ordinance, 1977](/laws/act-542 "Act 542") .

### Repeal of P.O. No. 67 of 1972

2\. The Government of Bangladesh (Services Screening) Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 67 of 1972), is hereby repealed.

### Power to review

3\. Notwithstanding the repeal of the Government of Bangladesh (Services Screening) Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 67 of 1972) by section 2, the Government may, at any time, either of its own motion or on application, review any order passed by it under clause (2) of Article 6 of that Order.
