Preamble
WHEREAS it is expedient to apply the Employment (Record of Services) Act, 1951 to the Chittagong Hill-tracts; Now, therefore, in pursuance of the Presidential Proclamation of the seventh day of October, 1958, and in exercise of all powers enabling it in that behalf, the [1][Government] is pleased to make the following Regulation, namely:-Sections/Articles
Short title and commencement
- (1) This Regulation may be called THE CHITTAGONG HILL-TRACTS EMPLOYMENT (RECORD OF SERVICES) REGULATION, 1959.
Application of Act XIX of 1952 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts
- The Employment (Record of Services) Act, 1951 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and the rules made thereunder shall, subject to the following amendments apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts, namely:-
Amendment of section 1 of Act No. XIX of 1952 | Sub-section (2) and (4) of section 1 of the said Act shall be omitted. |
