III OF 1950 W HEREAS it is expedient to apply the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 , to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district; A ND WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the Pakistan (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947, the 1 [Government] is empowered to make regulation for the peace and good Government of any area in his Province which is for the time being an excluded area, or a partially excluded area; N OW , THEREFORE , the 1 [Government] in exercise of the said powers and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-

Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Regulation may be called the 2 [***] Partially Excluded Areas Laws Regulation, 1950. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Application of Act II of 1947 to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district

2. The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 , shall apply to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.
