Preamble
WHEREAS it is expedient to apply the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947, to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district; AND WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the Pakistan (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947, the [1][Government] is empowered to make regulation for the peace and good Government of any area in his Province which is for the time being an excluded area, or a partially excluded area; NOW, THEREFORE, the 1[Government] in exercise of the said powers and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-Sections/Articles
Short title and commencement
- (1) This Regulation may be called the 2[***] Partially Excluded Areas Laws Regulation, 1950.
Application of Act II of 1947 to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district
- The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947, shall apply to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.
