Preamble
WHEREAS it is expedient to apply the Bengal State Aid to Industries Act, 1931, to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district; AND WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the Pakistan (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947, the 2[Government] is empowered to make regulations for the peace and good Government of any area in his Province which is for the time being an excluded area or a partially excluded area; NOW, THEREFORE, the 3[Government] in exercise of the said powers and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-Sections/Articles
Short title and commencement
- (1) This Regulation may be called THE EXCLUDED AND PARTIALLY EXCLUDED AREAS LAWS REGULATION, 1950.
Application of Bengal Act III of 1931 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymenshingh district
- The 4[***] State Aid to Industries Act, 1931, shall apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.
