IV OF 1950 W HEREAS it is expedient to apply the Bengal State Aid to Industries Act, 1931 , to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district; A ND WHEREAS by sub-section (2) of section 92 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the Pakistan (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947, the 2 [Government] is empowered to make regulations for the peace and good Government of any area in his Province which is for the time being an excluded area or a partially excluded area; N OW , T HEREFORE , the 3 [Government] in exercise of the said powers and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-

Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Regulation may be called THE EXCLUDED AND PARTIALLY EXCLUDED AREAS LAWS REGULATION, 1950 . (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Application of Bengal Act III of 1931 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymenshingh district

2. The 4 [***] State Aid to Industries Act, 1931 , shall apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts and to the partially excluded areas of the Mymensingh district.
